We’re looking to provide full training to enthusiastic and committed individuals, to become a Laboratory Technician within our Immunology and Immunotoxicology department at our site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. This is a full-time, permanent position.

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be trained in:
1. Maintenance of the instrumentation within the laboratory.
2. Laboratory Housekeeping.
3. Organising and calibrating the pipettes within the department.
4. Communicating with Suppliers.
5. Organising and replenishing stock.
6. Sample Preparation tasks.
7. Adherence to Good Laboratory Practice regulations.
8. Archiving data.
The job may involve periods of lifting, pushing and pulling of equipment but you will be trained in manual handling.

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in science and someone who would be keen to build a career within science. Due to our comprehensive training and career development scheme, it is not essential to have previous experience; as full training will be provided, however, good English language / reading / writing skills are essential. Science A levels would be advantageous but not essential.
