We are currently seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher to work in the Rawtenstall area. Location: Rawtenstall, Lancashire. Pay: £120 - £1 4 0 per day. Hours: Full-time Monday – Friday. Start: 24 th February 2025 Responsibilities: Build relationships with children to ensure they engage with the curriculum and their learning. Have a calm and nurturing approach to ensure children are happy and positive. Support children and families during their transition to Primary School. Plan and deliver engaging lessons and continuous provision, so that children can achieve their full potential. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of diverse learners and those with additional needs. Work with Teaching Assistants, parents and other professionals e.g. SENCO, educational psychologists to support pupil development. Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment. Be committed to the safeguarding of all pupils, ensuring you adopt school’s policies and participate in regular safeguarding training. Ensure children are assessed and progress is recorded so that feedback can be provided to children, parents and SLT. Requirements: Qualified Teaching Status (QTS). Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS Framework and Development Matters. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Have effective behaviour management strategies. Understand child development. Enhanced DBS certificate. Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
