The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to identify and lead transformation initiatives across our UK & Ireland Operations teams, including Customer & Patient Services, Pharmacy, Warehouse, Distribution & Supply Chain.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and optimising processes to ensure we continue meeting and exceeding the needs of our patients and customers.
This role requires a strategic thinker, ideally with healthcare or Pharma experience will challenge ways of working and drive sustainable improvement across the business areas.
As a key member if the Operations leadership team, this role is predominantly site based with agile working allowing some opportunity to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
* Working with the Operations Management team to optimise existing business processes whilst meeting the high standards of the Fresenius Kabi Quality Management System.
* Proactively investigate and propose solutions to bottlenecks and constraints across the end-to-end process to optimise performance for the whole Value Stream.
* Evaluate the “value streams” across the function and engaging key stakeholders in developing an “Operational Excellence” roadmap that delivers significant, measurable process improvements whilst supporting the businesses medium term strategic growth plans.
* Project manage initiatives as business needs arise, utilising recognised project management methodologies across multi-disciplinary departments and stakeholders including third parties.
* Manage and develop the business systems and processes throughout the Operations function.
* Work closely with IT to optimise existing systems, as well as proposing and delivering new solutions that improve; efficiency, performance and traceability whilst eliminating paper and reducing reliance on email.
* Horizon scanning for future process, industry, and technological improvements.
* To continually develop management information and improve framework for the Operations function.
* Adhere to all relevant statutory, company and regulatory requirements.
* Working “hands on” within areas of the operations function, to personally deliver improvements spanning; Safety, Hygiene, Quality, Quantity, Cost.

1. Develop and track a “road map” driving towards Operational Excellence.
2. Developing a clear systems strategy for the operations function.
3. Championing the continuous improvement ethos within the operation function.
4. Continually develop and monitor the KPI framework in order to support the operation function in achieving its objectives.
5. Understanding, managing and developing systems utilised by the Operations teams to enable them to be leveraged effectively.
Experience & Skills required
* Proven experience in leading business transformation initiatives and Continuous Improvement strategies.
* Ability to demonstrate solid and effective projet managment skills.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Have in-depth knowledge of multiple Lean / CI / OPEX tools and methodologies.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance optimisation.
* Ability work in fast paced and patient centric culture.
* Highly driven to seek, understand and deliver on best practice solutions.
