An exciting opportunity to join our Obstetric and Gynaecology Department at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. We are looking for a Trust Grade doctor level ST3 - 8 post to cover 9 months maternity cover to fulfil the full time responsibilities of the registrar on maternity leave. The post-holder will provide a level of service appropriate for a Speciality Doctor and will have Consultant supervision. The post-holder will work across sites on occasion with outpatient clinics at St. Margaret's Hospital and Herts and Essex Hospitals.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work alongside our dynamic team and participate in our 1:7 registrar rota providing 2 registrar cover 24/7. We also support and provide additional training in obstetric and gynaecology service covering fetal scanning, early pregnancy scanning and gynae procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to achieve additional hands-on experience and develop your CV. The post holder will be expected to participate in on-call rolling rota.
