Bromley Hills Primary School shares its kitchen with The Brier School and is committed to providing an excellent catering service for both schools. We are looking for a passionate, innovative, and experienced Catering Manager to help lead the Catering Team.
We employ CMC Catering consultancy, who oversee the health & safety requirements in the kitchen. Therefore, the candidate will be required to work with them to ensure all aspects of health & safety are managed.
Our Catering Team consists of 6 members of staff, including a Deputy Cook. Therefore, we are looking for someone who can lead, inspire, motivate, and manage others.
Candidates must be motivated and have a passion for quality coupled with the highest standards in food production, presentation, and service.
You must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of practical cooking in a large-scale environment, budget management experience, and good IT skills.
Previous supervisory experience is essential, and you must be able to demonstrate good leadership and motivational skills.
Effective communication skills with an emphasis on customer care are essential, as is the ability to work and lead as part of a team.
