As a Weights Engineer Graduate, you will be involved in tasks supporting the Company's programme for submarines and surface ships. This involves calculation and monitoring of weights and centres from project concept to vessel delivery. You will be responsible to senior staff for the monitoring and reporting of a portion of the vessel.,
* Preparing data for technical and production departments to assist them in the handling and transportation of units, sub units, modules and rafts.
* Undertake functional design and/or provide specialist advice and qualification of their scope of responsibility and provide evidence for acceptance and fitness for purpose.
* Obtain confirmation beyond reasonable doubt by review, surveillance and audit that assumptions, underpinning engineering data, analysis methodologies, and interpretation of results are valid.
* Produce evidence in support of qualification, legislative requirements, and safety justifications and provide specialist support for associated activities.
* Contribute to identification and rapid closure of issues emerging from all product lifecycle stages and manage the resulting change embodiment activities.

As a minimum requirement, you'll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
