Due to business expansion, Kellands (Plant Sales) Ltd is now Develon's most prominent dealership in England. We provide Construction Equipment for the South of England, along with supplying Parts, Service and Field Service backup. We are also Dealers for Merlo, Mecalac, Avant & Prodem Equipment.
We are looking for an outgoing, self-motivated, enthusiastic person who has a positive approach to all aspects of the role. If you are someone with a ‘can do’ attitude, who is flexible, quick-thinking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, then we would like to hear from you. The role will include a number of duties, as stated below.
Responsibilities:
* Providing customer service
* Managing inventory of assets and supplies and submitting invoices
* Coordinating between departments and operating units in resolving day-to-day administrative and operational problems
* Preparing business correspondence, typically using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
* Sending emails
* Managing documents and files
* Performing multifaceted general office support
* Sending and receiving documents for the company
* Answering the phone
* Assisting in various daily operations
* Operating a range of office machines such as photocopiers and computers
* Managing mailing or distribution lists as needed
* Greeting guests and visitors
* Organisation of transport
* Registering equipment for Warranty
* Covering reception as needed
* Assisting Accounts Department at busy times
Job Skills and Qualifications required:
* A good level of Maths and English, preferably GCSE
* Attention to detail is a key part of this role
* Basic skills in Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel
* General computing and IT knowledge
* Ability to work on own
* Good communication skills
* Excellent telephone manner
* Construction equipment background would be a great advantage
