Transfer Pricing Assistant Manager
Base Location: London plus a network of 20 offices nationally:

What will you be doing?
This role involves working on a range of projects.
1. Developing and maintaining client relationships
2. Interviewing clients to understand activities and value drivers for our clients’ businesses.
3. Determining key industry features across varied industries that influence the pricing of transactions.
4. Benchmarking market prices across industries and transaction types
5. Documenting and designing pricing policies
6. Drafting transfer pricing reports
7. Supporting clients with tax authority enquiries and Advance Pricing Agreements
8. Involvement in global documentation projects where we prepare transfer pricing reports for clients across multiple jurisdictions.
9. Coordinating with KPMG’s transfer pricing, international tax, indirect tax and other teams across the business on a range of topics
10. Coaching and developing junior members of staff
11. Assisting with the team’s business development and marketing initiatives.
What will you need to do it?
12. Either a CTA, CA, ACA, ACCA qualification or attained a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, finance, law, accounting, or equivalent qualification.
13. Prior transfer pricing experience, preferably including experience of preparing transfer pricing documentation, tax value chain analyses, benchmarking, supporting with tax authority enquiries/Advance Pricing Agreements, project management and managing junior team members.
14. Sound judgement, including the ability to identify and evaluate risk issues and know when to involve others.
15. High level of analytical skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice
16. High level of drive and enthusiasm with a positive attitude
17. Good commercial awareness and a desire to develop a technical specialism.
18. Ability and willingness to keep up to date technically.
19. An appreciation of and/or understanding of ethical/risk issues within a client service environment
20. Strong people skills for engaging with our clients and team members.
21. Excellent communication and project management skills
