Job title: Radar Systems Trials Team Leader

Salary: £54,793+ depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
* Lead the planning and support of ground and flight test programmes for all Radar products.
* Generation of test requirement documentation for ground trials, flight trials and Mission Data (MD).
* Govern the Management of trials data, including transfers between partners and suppliers, across Europe.
* Lead analysis of trials data and use the resultant findings to direct future fixes and improvements.
* Provide briefings to Customer representatives on programme progress providing an accurate picture of maturity supported by flight data.
* Work closely alongside aircrew and advisors to provide operational maturity views and System Problem Report (SPR) metrics in support of EF/customer reviews.
Your skills and experiences:
* A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience (preferably with Systems Engineering focus).
* An understanding of avionic systems and/or Radar. MATLAB experience is advantageous.
* An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication is essential.
* A proactive approach to problem solving.

The team:
This is an exciting role for a Team Leader working within the Eurofighter Typhoon Radar Equipment Design Responsibility (EDR) team, in support of the Trials and Analysis activities on various Radar programmes.
You will provide Team Leader support to the Trials and Analysis phase of multiple concurrent Radar programmes. This exciting role requires a wide range of engineering skills, teamwork and product focus. You will possess experience of leadership, integration, test and trials analysis in the area of avionics and sensors. The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to manage a team with a continually evolving workload.
