THE COMPANY:
We are searching for a Category Marketing Specialist (CMS), reporting to the Head of EU Marketing - Workplace Health Solutions. The role is primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and executing marketing plans, activities, tools, and support for the Workspace Health Division, with a specialized focus on Ergonomic Workspace Solutions, to achieve budgeted shipment and EBITDA goals, in support of the company's vision, strategy, and objectives.
THE ROLE:
This role is ideal for a talented and dynamic individual with an excellent track record for implementing category strategy, ideally within a healthcare/workspace environment, across multiple channels, on an international level. Responsibilities include:
1. Identifying and prioritizing market opportunities, consumer needs, positioning, and marketing plans.
2. Implementing the category strategy and ensuring focus areas are prioritized.
3. Overseeing all marketing activities for the division, including campaigns, promotions, sales, and marketing tools.
4. Promoting Workspace Ergonomic Solutions, including monitor arms and other associated subcategories.
5. Ensuring effective communication of the right messaging to attract and retain customers.
6. Representing the team to cross-functional groups including product management, sales, and customer support.
7. Updating senior leadership on marketing activities and reporting on project results.
8. Leading market research efforts to assess current and existing marketing activities.
9. Liaising with internal teams and collaborating with external agencies to deliver briefs and activities.
10. Coordinating photography/video shoots, compiling briefs, and ensuring timely delivery of assets.
11. Monitoring campaigns and analyzing data to evaluate marketing success.
12. Working with the Category Product Manager to identify new product ideas.
13. Preparing key presentations and launch documents in conjunction with the Category Product Manager and team members.
14. Monitoring and managing marketing budgets wisely.
15. Representing and demonstrating our clients' Workspace Health expertise at meetings and events.
16. Developing category expertise and staying abreast of trends influencing category development.
17. Providing information to global teams for product launches in other markets.
18. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge through workshops and professional societies.
THE CANDIDATE:
Necessary qualifications include:
1. Subject matter related further education essential, ideally BA/BSc level.
2. Proven track record of developing and launching marketing activities and campaigns.
3. Experience in a marketing team/department or as a marketing manager.
4. Ability to develop marketing initiatives and effectively communicate recommendations.
5. Experience in healthcare/workspace environments, ideally on Ergonomic Workspace Solutions.
6. Good understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels, within a B2B/B2C environment.
7. Creativity and innovative thinking.
8. Familiarity with trends in graphic design and web design.
9. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
10. Strong organizational and project management skills.
11. Budget management skills and proficiency.
12. Numerate and analytical ability.
13. Demonstrates initiative and a flexible attitude to continuous improvement.
THE BENEFITS:
Salary: £40,651 - £61,028 DOE plus bonus.
Pension with match funding (up to 8.5%).
25 days annual leave, increasing by an extra day for every 5 years of service.
