Gordon Vets are seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a permanent basis. Gordon Vets has a loyal client base and was recently shortlisted for the IVC Best Team award. We pride ourselves on our team-oriented approach, where everyone looks after each other.
We are a modern and progressive 3 site practice based on the outskirts of Edinburgh. This RVN position would be based at our main Musselburgh surgery, but some branch cover may be required. We provide a high standard of care offering laparoscopy, endoscopy, digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasonography, and orthopaedic surgery. We have a number of Veterinary Certificate holders and vets working towards certificates including Ophthalmology and Exotics. We offer daily nurse consultations. We are a nurse training centre and hold Silver ISFM status.

The full-time position would include working 40 hours per week over 4 days. Part-time applications will also be considered. Shifts run 8am to 6pm, 9am to 7pm, and 11:30am to 8pm. There will be a 1 in 5 share in the weekend rota 9am to 3pm with a day off in lieu after working at the weekend. There are no out-of-hours (OOH) requirements.
