An understanding of the concepts and principles of attachment & trauma responsive care Must be able to see beyond presenting behaviours whilst being able to display empathy, compassion and hope for young people Understand that this is a demanding and, at times, very tough job. A high level of composure and resilience is required Must have an HNC in Social Care and SVQ 3, or be willing to work toward these qualifications and register with SSSC within 3 months of start date Ability to organise and participate in leisure and recreational activities A full driving licence is desirable
