TPF Recruitment is currently representing a leading firm of Chartered Accountants, renowned for its ambition and excellence in delivering unparalleled accounting and business advisory services across the South East. As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will lead statutory audit assignments for a variety of limited companies, ensuring high-quality preparation and review of financial statements. You will play a critical role in the audit process, taking ownership of audit files and providing technical support to both clients and junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies in compliance with accounting standards.
2. Conduct audits of accounts following International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
3. Collaborate closely with clients to ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.
4. Prepare corporation tax computations, including detailed analysis of tax items.
5. Mentor and guide trainees, fostering their professional development and addressing knowledge gaps.
6. Provide direct support to Client Managers and Directors by offering technical expertise and insights.
7. Stay current with legislative changes and updates in accounting and auditing standards.
Requirements
1. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with strong audit and accounts experience.
2. Previous experience working in an accountancy practice.
3. Experience conducting UK company audits.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
5. Familiarity with accounting software such as SAGE, Xero, QuickBooks, and Kashflow.
6. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Confidence in building and managing professional client relationships.
9. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
10. Team player with the ability to build strong working relationships.
