Role overview/Responsibilities
Our client is currently seeking dedicated Ultrasound and X-ray Field Service Engineers to support healthcare providers with expert maintenance and technical services. Known for delivering vendor-neutral diagnostic imaging solutions, our client is looking for professionals with strong technical backgrounds, independence in the field, and a commitment to customer care.
Ideal candidates will have experience servicing ultrasound and tier 2 X-ray systems, with a background in Multi-Vendor Service (MVS) to demonstrate flexibility across different manufacturers. Strong diagnostic skills and excellent communication are essential to maintain the high standards our client is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service, repair, and maintain ultrasound and X-ray equipment at customer sites, ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
* Deliver prompt, customer-focused support, including fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and system installations.
* Provide remote and on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and user training.
In this role, youll be instrumental in ensuring our clients imaging systems remain operational and reliable, contributing directly to the quality of care delivered by healthcare providers.
Person Specification
* Proven experience (preferably 3+ years) as a Field Service Engineer, specifically working with Siemens ultrasound and X-ray systems.
* Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing Siemens medical imaging equipment, with a focus on ultrasound and X-ray technology.
* Experience in the Multi-Vendor Service (MVS) sector is an advantage.
* Previous exposure to the healthcare environment and understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
Technical Abilities:
* Strong proficiency in ultrasound and X-ray hardware/software systems, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.
* Robust knowledge of electrical engineering principles, mechanical repair, and diagnostic practices in medical technology.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

* Valid UK driving licence.
* Willingness to travel to various client locations.
* Ability to manage a flexible work schedule, including potential evening work.
