Salary £26,421 - £29,269 FTE (£22,929 - £25,401 pro rata)
We are seeking to appoint a committed and talented Internal Exclusion Manager with pastoral support responsibilities to join us at the Weston Favell Academy!
The role:
We are seeking a responsible, experienced and committed individual to support the leadership team in managing our Isolation Room (IE). You will manage the day to day running of IE, liaise with relevant staff to provide effective resources and support, and assist the Pastoral Teams with daily tasks and responsibilities. You will monitor and track repeat offenders, offer daily reporting on students accessing IE and be pivotal to students’ success in returning to mainstream lessons through mentoring and pastoral intervention. The successful candidate will be part of the wider pastoral team and involved in other aspects of pastoral support.
You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels, possess first class organisation skills and have high expectations of achievement and behaviour. You will enjoy working with young people and be passionate about motivating students to become the best they can be. You will have the opportunity to shape the support students receive so we can be truly inclusive of all students in our community; you will have a significant impact of the life chances of the students you support.
