Job title Communications Assistant Salary starting £27,897 perannum plus attractive pension Invest Northern Ireland is looking for a Communications Assistant to join the Internal Communications team in our Marketing and Communications Group. The role Communications Assistants provide an important support function in the Communications Group to deliver a wide range of outputs. For the Internal Communications Group these include internal communications campaigns to support staff engagement;event management; digital activity and channel maintenance; and social media outputs to improve stakeholder awareness. All of these activities help us to deliver against corporate objectives. You will have: 5 GCSEs/O Levels at Grades A-C (or equivalent qualifications) including English Language AND 1 years recent relevant experience in a marketing, communications, or public relations role, providing evidence of this experience in: a) Supporting marketing, internal communications, or public relations projects, particularly assisting with planning, monitoring, and reporting on communications projects. b) Writing and delivering engaging marketing and communications content for social media or digital channels. c) Creating engaging marketing materials for printed and digital marketing channels (including some or all the following: web copy, press releases, video, case studies, creative assets, social media posts, internal communications). OR 2 years recent relevant experience in a marketing, communications, or public relations role, providing evidence of this experience in: a) Supporting marketing, internal communications, or public relations projects, particularly assisting with planning, monitoring and reporting on communications projects. b) Writing and delivering engaging marketing and communications content for social media or digital channels. c) Creating engaging marketing materials for printed and digital marketing channels (including some or all the following: web copy, press releases, video, case studies, creative assets, social media posts, internal communications). Recent experience of: Administrative Skills: Producing a range of high-level administrative work including the proficient use of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web analytics to prepare formal and professional documents for different audiences. Prioritising Tasks: Recent experience of working on multiple communications projects/initiatives simultaneously to meet tight deadlines. Relationships: Good interpersonal skills and experience of building good internal working relationships; as well as the proven ability to work as part of a team to deliver shared objectives.
