About the team
You will join as part of the Enterprise Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team within Worldpay. The team, of eight heads, is responsible for the overall forecasting and analysis of the Enterprise divisions $1.4BN EBITDA P&L. Forecast accuracy and driving value add analysis both within the finance organisation and outside of it are key focuses of the team. The team works closely with the Finance Partner team to steer the business towards achieving its financial targets.
What you'll own
As a Financial Analyst, you'll have your finger on the financial pulse of the entire organization. You'll be involved in discovering and communicating drivers of the financial performance of Enterprise, with a focus on Revenue. The main areas of responsibility are:
1. Own and deliver the end-to-end financial planning, forecasting and analysis activities for a commercial region
2. Develop and produce reporting and analysis that is timely, reliable, incisive and insightful, supporting the delivery of business objectives
3. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to increase effectiveness and influence of role; namely regional Finance Partner, Accounting team, wider finance team etc
4. Play key role in the annual budget/plan process
5. Own and develop regional financial models, building improvements and efficiencies where applicable to improve level of forecasting/analysis
6. Liaise with Accounting on month end queries/issues where necessary to resolve promptly and minimize impact to close period
What you bring
The ideal candidate will have a combination of the following:
1. Completed a professional accountancy qualification such as CIMA
2. Demonstrated experience in producing performance analysis
3. Strong interpersonal skills - a confident communicator and relationship builder
4. Strong excel skills with modelling experience
5. A bachelor's degree, ideally financial/Economics, or another numerate discipline but not essential
6. A bonus if you have experience in a fast paced, dynamic and complex industry
