Our Client are a privately owned national contractor operating in a wide range of sectors including commercial, retail, residential, leisure and healthcare. The South West Division have already secured their budgeted pipeline for the next two years and are thus looking for a number of experienced professionals to join their rapidly expanding team.
Options Resourcing have been retained to assist with the recruitment of a Project Manager to work on projects in the Bristol area.
The successful candidate must have experience of working on high rise student accommodation and/or high rise residential projects and be qualified to HND or Degree level and will play the pivotal role in the successful delivery of our client's projects; ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards through the effective management of direct site teams and the sub-contract chain.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Lead project meetings, providing clear communication to all stakeholders.
Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
Foster strong relationships with the end client, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a track record of delivering successful projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
