The appointed Clinical Psychologist will work within a specialist Paediatric and neurodevelopmental team, providing assessments to children with related neurodevelopmental and behavioral and/or mental health conditions. this role requires you to work in an inpatient setting.

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Child Psychologist with specialist experience of neuropsychological assessment or a Neuropsychologist to join our multidisciplinary therapy team. You will work with children with a wide range of neurodisabilities. You will be required to work mainly in inpatient but there may be some Outpatient cover required.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and/or tests for diagnostic purposes.
– Neuropsychology formulation, assessment and recommendations
– Develop an individualized treatment plan for each child and their families.
– Educate family members on what they can do for their child or how to respond to certain behaviours.
– Psychological consultation to colleagues in the multi-disciplinary team
Requirements:
1. Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
2. HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
3. Extensive experience working with children and adolescents with neurological conditions.
4. Proven expertise in conducting psychological assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
6. Strong collaborative skills, with a commitment to working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
7. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of patients and healthcare settings.
8. Additional training in Neuropsychological assessment in children/adolescents
