Key responsibilities and duties: • Daily maintenance test flying of all marks of UK Chinook; • To ensure the product delivered is to the required quality standard, compliant to internal and external regulatory requirements; • To ensure that all regulatory and quality standards are met in accordance with company, customer and MAA requirements; • To initiate, lead and/or support Continuous Improvement initiatives ensuring that best practice methods are adopted / utilised where appropriate, to meet the needs of the business; • To work effectively with other company departments in a co-operative and collaborative fashion, to meet the needs of the business; • Ensure that company health, safety and environmental policies are complied with and housekeeping and company improvement activities are implemented; • To carry out any other reasonable duties within the capability of the jobholder, as requested by the immediate supervisor; • Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business & Operations Manuals. Competencies: (e essential / d desirable) Core: • Current or recently lapsed UK MoD Chinook Pilot Rating; (e) • Current or recently lapsed UK MoD Aircrew Medical / CAA Class 1 Medical; (e) • Strong verbal communication and written skills; (e) • Keen eye for detail; (e) • Able to use computers/computer systems; (e) • Self-motivated, and able to prioritise and manage own workload; (e) • Good team work and problem solving skills; (e) • Good interpersonal communication skills. (e) Functional: • UK MAA Flying regulations and associated compliance; (e) • Familiarity with UK MAA quality procedures and documentation. (d) Organisational Relationships: • Reports directly to Head of Flying; • Accountable Manager (Military Flying); • Fleetlands ATC; • StandardAero, Boeing and RAF aircrew; • Flight Test Maintenance Team; Professional Qualifications/Education and Training: • UK Military Pilot Qualification without restrictions; (e) • UK Chinook rating; (e) • Maintenance Test Flight qualification; (e) • Flying Supervisors qualification. (d) Experience: • Chinook Maintenance Flight Test experience; (e) • Management experience; (d) • Staff experience.
