Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business and Finance Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the business in operations and finance, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and operations. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for all administration to support a growing business
* Provide administration support across the finance function: Debtors, Creditors, Bank reconciliation, Payroll Information
* Provide administration support across the operations team: training, fire safety consultancy, health and safety consultancy.
* Responding to telephone and web-based customer enquiries
* Take phone calls and messages and signpost customers/suppliers to the appropriate department / team members.
* Monitor the enquiries mailbox responding to emails to provide information and pass any sales leads to the appropriate colleagues within the Business Development team.
* Ensure training rooms are equipped with the relevant courseware and stationery.
* Undertake other administrative duties as required
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is advantageous.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Experience of working on Sage Line 50 is desirable
* Ability to work under pressure and manage a high workload
Working Days - 3 days a week
