W Talent is pleased to support a highly regarded and innovative manufacturing business based in Derby, which is now seeking to recruit a Project Coordinator. Key Duties
* Plan and develop project plans, setting milestones and adhering to deadlines and budget constraints to support project leads across the business.
* Manage a project portfolio and be responsible for on-time delivery.
* Delegate tasks to team members best suited for each task.
* Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options, serving as the point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project.
* Collaborate with the Project Manager to keep projects aligned with overarching goals.
* Oversee a portfolio of projects to support the UK business, using project templates and tools, and act as the escalation point to resolve issues and remove barriers.
* Report on project progress and ensure quality control, maintaining accurate KPIs to uphold the highest standards.
* Support the PMO team by training the business in Project Management best practices, ensuring teams adhere to PMO Governance, standardisation, and processes.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in a project management or coordination role.
* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all types of stakeholders.
* Preference will be given to candidates who hold a project certification such as APM or PRINCE2.
