Role Overview: Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Location: Hackney Interview Date: Immediate Contract: Full-Time / Permanent Salary: £102 - £115 per day (dependent on experience)About You:We are looking for a passionate and adaptable Learning Support Assistant who: Has experience working with children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), including autism, speech and language difficulties, or complex learning needs. Is patient, empathetic, and confident in delivering one-to-one and small group interventions. Can support students with their communication, emotional regulation, and social development. Works well as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with teachers, therapists, and support staff. Is committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.Your Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students, ensuring they can access the curriculum and develop key skills. Assist in implementing individual learning plans (ILPs) and adapting activities to suit different learning needs. Support students with personal development, encouraging independence and confidence. Work closely with teachers and external professionals to track progress and adjust support strategies accordingly.
