As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in providing person-centred care to our inpatients. Working collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary teams, you will typically manage a caseload of 14-16 patients, ensuring they receive comprehensive and effective mental health support. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to autonomously lead teaching sessions for junior doctors and staff.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality clinical care for inpatients.
2. Manage a caseload of fourteen to sixteen patients.
3. Work autonomously and contribute to teaching sessions.
4. Collaborate with a well-established multi-disciplinary team which includes OT, psychologist, visiting GP, physical health practitioner and RMNs.
5. Participate in an on-call rota.

Experience
* Full GMC registration
* Psychiatry experience within multi-disciplinary teams
* Doctor experience in a similar environment
* MRCPsych or equivalent
* Section 12 approval
* Approved clinical status.
