THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a member of our People team, you will be involved with all aspects of the Human Resources function including maintaining HRIS and records, assisting with the preparation of payroll, administering benefits, and supporting recruitment activities. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
HRIS administration: maintain accurate and up-to date HR data within our HR system (BambooHR), ensure data integrity, consistency and confidentiality. Process requests for changes.
HR administration: oversee various HR administration tasks, including drafting, completing, and organizing employees and contractors' agreements and other essential HR paperwork. Keep the library of template dcuments up to date.
Payroll administration: coordinate updates for payroll; work with Finance to communicate payroll changes, including changes to the base pay, variables and absence management.
Benefits administration: administer benefits and act as the liaison between our benefit providers and employees.
Recruitment: work closely with the People Partner to provide recruitment support for posting and maintaining job ads, sourcing and screening candidates and arrange interviews.
Onboarding / Offboarding : conduct the onboarding process, followed by the orientation meeting with the new joiner, explaining the general HR operational matters such as internal systems, benefits, processes and policies, payroll calendar; run the exit interviews, execute the offboarding process.
HR support : provide first-line support to the employees, on matters related to the employment law, internal policies, local HR administration procedures, documentation. Respond to inquiries and escalate issues as required. Assist with facilitating employee programs and People team initiative.
Policies and procedures: update and maintain policies and procedures according to the internal standards and practices.
Office management: provide general office support to MK employees, including but not limited to organizing events, purchasing supplies, and communicating all office updates to employees.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
1. Previous working experience with HR Coordinator role
2. Understanding of UK employment law
3. Proactive mindset with attention to details
4. Working knowledge of MS Office Apps
5. Ability to handle multiple tasks
6. Good time management and organisational skills
7. Willingness to try new approaches and learn from mistakes
