As part of our continuing growth we are seeking to recruit a Senior Business Analyst to work in our Client Success department. Client Success is the first chance our business gets to work closely with new clients – installing and configuring our system to meet the clients’ needs and deliver to the contract. As well as working to support our clients’ Business Analysts will need to work closely with colleagues throughout the business – Professional Services Director, Head of IT and Infrastructure, Chief/Senior Architect, project managers, implementation consultants, the test team, and core product developers. Being a team player that enjoys getting stuck into all aspects of client delivery is key to success at Procentia in any role. What will you be doing: You will demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Procentia’s products and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices. Manage client relationships and expectations by using communication to keep others up-to-date on project results. Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following escalation paths; and managing client and supplier relationships. Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; identifying and initiating process improvements; supporting resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results. Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones; and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies. Provide project level analysis – producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan). Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process. Use clear and appropriate language that allows clients and internal stakeholders to understand what is being asked and what is needed to be done. Help clients and the business to identify complex business improvements, assess the feasibility of change, and communicate the benefits Support the business and clients to recognise where risks to delivery lie or dependencies that could have significant impact on delivery Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements Produce documentation such as specifications, dependency mappings, and process flows Use data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes Identify the processes and information technology required to introduce your recommendations. Identify risks (financial, technological, operational etc) and report to relevant stakeholders (can be the Project Manager / Programme Manager etc) Adapt your approach depending on both the complexity of the client and their size, including where they may need guidance and leadership when working with us. Role model the business analyst role for others to emulate. Proactively coach others and help them to be the best they can be. Essential Skills: At least five years’ experience of working as a Business Analyst in a financial services (ideally pensions) or IT environment. Excellent communication skills with all levels and types of stakeholder Ability to lead a matrix team with respect to achieving business analyst objectives Have deep technical knowledge of our products or the similar technology. Have experience of requirements gathering to support the configuration and development of pensions software, or other financial services related systems. High degree of numeracy. Excellent team worker with good time management and work planning abilities. Be self-motivated and capable of independent working. Have a thorough approach to information analysis and document production Be hard working and willing to, when required, go the extra mile to deliver on time.
