The mission
The client base is B2B, and what they do has illuminated the brand presence of their clients to unprecedented levels & your role will be to harness and add value to these relationships. As part of the wider agency, their PR team provides sound consultancy to get a brand, business, and its people in front of appropriate media to tell their story. They have a common-sense approach, which allows them to bring intelligence and creativity to the content, activity, and campaigns they deliver for clients all year round.
All their clients want to be known for their expertise, innovation and the competence of their products and services. A positive presence in trade (and sometimes national) media, being an advocate for the industry and a contributor to key industry discussions is an important way to do this. You’ll be key to this way of thinking & with others, provide an elevated multi-channel response to many client briefs.
This may be through the traditional PR skills of co-ordinating media relations, maintaining journalist relationships, supporting the delivery of projects such as roundtables and managing public appearances by client representatives, but increasingly it is through the savvy use of social media and digital platforms for more direct communications. You’ll write high quality, impactful engaging content (media releases/features/comment pieces/website content/statements) & work closely with your AD to ensure your client relationships, are strong and strategic as possible.
