Knowledge, Skill and training
Essential criteria
1. Completion of or working towards the Therapy Assistant Practitioner apprenticeship (NVQ 3) OR demonstrable equivalent knowledge, skills and experience
2. Completion of or willingness to complete the Care Certificate
3. Experience of working with people in a healthcare setting
4. Experience of working as an Assistant at an advancing level
BUSINESS TRAVEL
Essential criteria
5. Subject to the provisions of the Equality Act, able to travel using own vehicle on Trust business.
Job specific experience
Essential criteria
6. Experience of undertaking defined clinical or therapeutic interventions appropriately delegated by a Registered Practitioner
7. Experience of managing own case load
8. Recent previous experience within a comparable role
9. Experience of providing holistic assessment and implementing programmes of care
Desirable criteria
10. Experience and knowledge of running groups and classes
TEAM WORK EXPERIENCE

11. Evidence of effective team working appropriate leadership within the scope of the role
