Are you a Business Development Manager or similar, with experience in the low voltage market, looking to join a leading UK company where you can drive growth and add direct value to a company who offer uncapped commission opportunities?
This company is a UK leader in control and automation solutions, with over 40 years of experience supplying a wide range of clients across the market. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking for a new Business Development Manager to join their team and make a significant impact in the role.
In this varied role, you will report to the director and focus on achieving profitable revenue growth for a range of products, including PLCs and monitoring relays. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and developing relationships with both new and existing clients, as well as engaging with third-party investors to secure business and deliver presentations. The role is remote, with regional travel across Northern England and Scotland. You will also collaborate with the close-knit sales team and other departments on project-based activities.
This role is ideal for a Business Development Manager or similar, with experience selling to companies using automation or controls products. The role:
1. Identify, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities across Northern England and Scotland, with a focus on low-voltage control solutions
2. Create strong, long-term relationships with both existing and potential customers
3. Create and carry out a sales plan to reach and exceed revenue targets
4. Required to travel to customer sites to attend client meetings (2-3 days on the road)
5. Monday to Thursday (8:30am-5:30pm) Friday (8:30-5:00pm)
The person:
1. Sales experience in the low-voltage controls industry
2. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
3. Capable of working independently and effectively managing a large geographic area
