Job Title: Compliance Officer (Permanent)
Hours: 37 hours per week (to be worked flexibly in line with business needs)
Salary: £32,940 per annum (Plus Regular User Mileage Allowance)
Location: Based at Gadbrook Park, Northwich (working flexibly from home, office and site where required).

Weaver Vale Housing Trust has an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career within a Social Housing Environment. We are looking for a driven, diligent, friendly and proactive Compliance Officer who is committed to driving this essential area of the Trust forward.
Having already made significant improvements to the existing Compliance functions within the Trust, we are looking for candidates who are knowledgeable and passionate about compliance works, care about keeping people safe and secure in their homes and who have a desire to learn and develop skills and experience. What Will You Do?
The main focus will be leading on and ensuring the delivery of key Compliance inspection and testing programmes, planning and co-ordinating appointments with customers and contractors, elements of contractor management, collating compliance information and updating key data within our core systems. This will also involve the production of reports and analysis of data with responsibilities for acting on this information.
Candidates will need to work closely with a variety of teams across the Trust, especially with operational team leaders and managers, and must support the Compliance Manager in continually meeting targets and deadlines and therefore be pro-active and continually promote all aspects of Compliance. They should also have a desire to improve existing systems that have been continually developed over a number of years, ensuring that the Trust remains at the forefront of excellent Compliance delivery.

Minimum Requirements For This Role*
• Full UK driving license
• Compliance related qualification
• Experience of producing reports and acting upon the information contained within them.
• Coordination of programmes of works.
• Experience of working with a wide range of customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships to achieve organisational objectives.
• Understanding of compliance obligations in relation to Gas Safety, Electrical Safety, Fire Safety, Asbestos Management, Lifts and Lifting Equipment Safety and Water Hygiene Management.
Due to the nature of the role, a full current driving license, business insurance and ac-cess to a car is essential. The role will also require the successful candidate to undergo a DBS check.
