QG Media is a provider of cutting edge business events, conferences and digital content in the Tech space. We host annual events across 5 continents and have a client base that includes some of world’s most recognisable brands (Google, Pfizer, BP, Oracle, McAfee, Philips, AstraZeneca). The company is now in its second phase of growth and are looking to build a team that thrives in an energetic environment, full of motivated and ambitious people. We are currently looking to fill the role of a Conference Producer. You will be given a brief to research and then create an agenda of topics/presentations for an international business conference. We will provide full training and support in order for you to be able to research the content. Along with recruiting industry experts as speakers, you will be liaising with the sales and marketing teams internally to ensure the event is a success. You will be responsible for the project from inception right up to onsite delivery.We must emphasise that this role is not as a conference organiser. Qualifications: Key Tasks: • To research topics and conceptualise them into conferences • To research and invite c-level industry experts as speakers • Work closely with a steering committee of industry leaders to assist with the topics • Create a relevant, thought-provoking and high-quality program • Work closely with other departments in ensuring the conference meets revenue targets •To consistently meet and exceed Production activity targets Key skills: • A confident, team player who also works on their own initiative • Thrives in a vibrant, fast-moving environment • Excited by working to and meeting targets • Enjoys talking to clients within a commercial and professional environment • Excellent communication as you will be speaking with international business leaders • A quick thinker who is able to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines • Great project management skills • 2:1 or above at degree level
