As part of this growth, we are looking for a highly motivated and commercially driven Export Manager to lead our global sales strategy and drive volume, revenue, and profitability in key international markets.
The role will require time at our Head Office- Wednesbury- West Midlands.
The Role:
As our Export Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our global sales strategy. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for developing new markets, managing key accounts, diversifying product offerings, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Business & Market Expansion
✅ Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive volume and revenue growth while ensuring profitability.
✅ Identify and capitalise on new international market opportunities, expanding KTC’s global presence.
✅ Take the lead in new business development, actively seeking and cultivating potential distributors, wholesalers, and direct customers. Manage and strengthen relationships with existing key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and sustainable growth.
Product & Market Diversification
✅ Lead product diversification initiatives, assessing market feasibility and expanding product offerings into new regions.
✅ Conduct comprehensive market research, monitoring trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to maintain a competitive edge.
✅ Collaborate with the CCO and procurement teams to assess the financial impact of new product introductions, ensuring commercial offerings align with strategic goals.
Sales & Commercial Strategy
✅ Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to close profitable sales deals.
✅ Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to guide business decisions.
✅ Oversee payment terms and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring financial security in international transactions.
Compliance & International Trade Regulations
✅ Ensure full compliance with global import/export regulations, reviewing contract documentation to ensure smooth international transactions.
✅ Stay updated on changing trade policies, tariffs, and legal requirements to maintain compliance in all markets. Represent KTC at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events, promoting our products and strengthening our global brand presence.

Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in international export sales, business development, or key account management within FMCG/Food Industry.
* Strong commercial acumen, with experience developing market entry strategies and driving revenue growth. Deep understanding of international trade regulations, compliance, and logistics.
* Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders. Analytical and data-driven, with a strong ability to assess market feasibility and financial viability of new business opportunities.
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and agile in approach.
