Ready to bring your social media magic to life? As our Social Media Content Manager, you'll be the mastermind behind executing a dynamic social strategy across a diverse range of exciting agency projects, especially in the film & entertainment world. We're looking for someone who can turn creative sparks into impactful, "social-first" content that helps brands connect with their audiences in fun, innovative ways. You’ll be working closely with the creative team, leading the charge on strategy, ideation, and producing top-tier social media content that wows. Plus, you'll build strong relationships with key clients and lead the charge in bringing fresh social innovation to Feref. As we grow our social team, you'll be at the forefront, shaping the future of our social content game!

The Role

The role of Social Media Content Manager will be to interpret and implement the social vision across a broad range of agency clients and projects particularly in the film & entertainment sector. An ideal candidate will understand how to use social media to connect brands to their audiences through impactful and innovative ‘social first’ content and storytelling. This role will sit within the creative team and day-to-day responsibilities will include strategy, ideation and creation of best-in-class social media content, relationship building with key clients and leading social innovation within Feref. We are currently expanding the social team, this person would play a key role championing and leading this growth.

Feref is an award-winning fully integrated creative agency based in Soho, London. Since 1968 we’ve helped to launch some of the biggest and best-loved movies in cinema history. Today, we create campaigns for the world's most recognisable brands - including Spotify, Disney, Sky, Mattel, Universal and many more. Recently we’ve worked on campaigns for Spotify Wrapped, House of Kardashian and Greys Anatomy.

Feref have become part of the Delta Group, the UK & Ireland’s leading visual communications specialist. This strategic alliance enhances our ability to deliver award-winning and innovative solutions to our clients. This role will bridge the gap between Feref and Delta and work across clients and social projects.

Key Responsibilities

Overarching Strategy

1. Define, plan & implement social strategies that connect the business needs of our clients with social creative that will connect to their audience including content format and platform recommendations.
2. Develop social media campaigns and strategies across TikTok, YouTube, IG, Meta, Twitter/X, Snap etc.
3. Lead on campaign creative ideation and planning, decks, working closely with creative team members.
4. Interpret client briefs and expectations with the creatives to get us all to the most effective campaigns.
5. Understand what success looks like and make recommendations for KPI’s and results.
6. Understand industry and consumer insights to lead clear strategic, creative propositions.
7. Develop creative briefs while liaising with the creative team during creative ideation. Will be supported by CS.
8. Lead and develop talent ideas and junket recommendations for campaigns.
9. Lead the social strategic needs of campaigns for existing clients as well as new business pitches.
10. Present strategies back to client in meetings and be able to set out a clear strategic journey through slides in a presentation.

Day to Day:

1. Work seamlessly within the creative department alongside CS.
2. Management to support client and campaign needs.
3. Ideate on social strategy and content - briefing in AV & design team to create assets.
4. Be reactive and proactive with social ideas that could be applicable to our client base.
5. Develop social briefs based on insights on platforms, audience and formats.
6. Develop relationships with Meta, TikTok and X/Twitter.
7. Develop test and learn social strategies for key clients.
8. Measure success of all social campaigns.
9. Monitor and suggest content improvements throughout campaigns.
10. Define the most important social KPI’s for campaigns.

Internal:

1. Lead strategy and content plan for Feref social channels.
2. Lead training and development within social across the agency.
3. Stay at the forefront of new trends and technologies, actively researching the latest in social media platforms.
4. Creating and posting captivating and exciting content for Feref social media channels.
5. Ensure tone of voice across social content is on brand for Feref.

Required Experience and Skills

1. 5+ years in working in film & entertainment within a creative social media environment, ideally within family/entertainment brands.
2. Experience liaising with cross functional teams to deliver on creative client briefs and planning of project delivery timescales.
3. Experience in briefing and working with designers to create social content.
4. Proven work experience as a Social Media Copywriter.
5. Strong analytical mind that can spot cultural & creative trends and adapt accordingly.
6. Personal qualities - ambitious, positive outlook, high energy, great team worker.
7. A self-starter with the capacity to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
8. Experience working individually and as part of a small team.

Beneficial Skills

1. Experience with editing content for social media and familiarity with editing tools such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
2. Proven experience working with entertainment clients.
3. Experience in interviewing talent up to director level.
