We are currently looking to recruit a Manufacturing Operative who will be able to manufacture products efficiently, of high quality and in a safe and timely manner. What does the role involve? As a Manufacturing Operative you will be required to operate machinery and produce and maintain high standards of product quality and carry out regular safety checks on machinery within the facility, as agreed with risk assessments and SOP’s. In addition, you will control and record departmental waste, and ensure high standards of housekeeping are maintained, report all machinery defected issues promptly and work to agreed Health & Safety Regulations and standards, reporting any unsafe working practices. The successful candidate will require: • To have good awareness of health and safety and a good attitude to work following procedures SOP’s and risk assessments. • Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems • Self-motivation and self-discipline – able to work efficiently without supervision or guidance • Ability to learn new equipment and able to support others. • Experience of working in a factory environment.
