Credit Controller. Permanent Full time. Belfast BT1 with Hybrid option.
On behalf of our client, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Credit Controller to join the team based in Belfast city centre. You do not necessarily have to have Credit Control experience as the employer is happy to train the right person.
Working in a team of Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:
· Carrying out credit control with respect to tenants in arrears. This will include:
o Contacting tenants using various forms of communication.
o Maintaining comprehensive and clear notes and records of credit control activity carried out on individual accounts.
o Proactively managing the credit control process across the assigned portfolio to maximise coverage and follow-through.
o Working closely with Property Managing Surveyors & clients to identify and resolve issues hindering payment.
o Reporting internally on tenant arrears.
o Reporting externally to clients per agreed bespoke reports.
· Issuing invoices, client statements, final demands and seven-day letters; assisting with the pursuit of outstanding amounts through to small claims or other legal proceedings where required.
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9-5.30pm and an early finish on a Friday. The employer can be flexible on start and finish times.
Starting salary £25000-3 plus a yearly bonus and pay rise.

You will need:
· Please note, this is a permanent role and applicants must have current rights to work in the UK on a permanent basis.
· Experience of carrying out credit control is desirable but not essential however it is expected applicants have an administrative background, an aptitude for figures and a passion to learn and progress.
· Excellent verbal and written communicator.
· Proven ability to deliver a high level of client service.
· Proven ability to manage own workload and work independently.
· Experience working as part of a team.
· Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality, error free work.
· Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications – Outlook, Excel, Word.
