Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Controller We are seeking an experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Controller to join our Facilities Management and Real Estate team in Broughton, North Wales. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a safe, compliant, and engaging working environment while driving high safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Support FMRE teams and service providers in implementing effective risk controls. Ensure compliance with regulations for new and existing plant and work equipment. Conduct EHS inspections and support formal record-keeping and action plans. Review contractor safety management systems through pre-qualification processes. Provide expert EHS advice for strategic projects, from feasibility to design. Implement compliance audits aligned with legal requirements (e.g., CDM Regulations 2015, Building Safety Act). Investigate work-related incidents and ensure effective corrective actions are taken. Promote a positive safety culture through training, awareness campaigns, and KPIs reporting. Experience & Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent) – minimum. Experience in Facilities Management (including construction and maintenance). Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and workplace safety standards. Proven ability to work with stakeholders to implement safety initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Experience in formal risk assessments and auditing techniques. Proactive, team-oriented, and able to work autonomously with a positive approach. Membership of a professional health and safety body (e.g., IOSH) is desirable.
