Your responsibilities
* The Workshop Assistant is responsible for supporting the teams by ensuring that the cleaning schedule of test equipment is undertaken and the necessary consumables are available to teams at all times. They are also responsible for regular housekeeping activities with our Medical Repair Service Centre, such as:
o Replenishing of soaps/creams, FFP3 masks, wipes and gloves
o Checking and disposal of contents from specialist bins
o Regular cleaning of working areas, storage cupboards, janitors cupboard, cardboard and workshop areas
o Regular water changes for test equipment, EMTs, sinks, hot/cold baths and wet check areas
o Maintenance of brushes & forceps for all operational areas
o Carry out any administrative duties associated with tasks
o Engagement in 6S and continuous improvement activities in the workshop
o Carry out computer related duties to include emails and updating Excel spreadsheets
* You possess strong communication skills, with colleagues at all levels.
* Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
* You are a competent PC user, including the Microsoft Office suite such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams in particular.
* You can be adaptable to different situations.
* You can work independently, and are able to use your own initiative.
