Our Team
Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has two locations: Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) and the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland). You can be part of this unique project and make motorsport history.
Your Mission:
* Work in an agile software development team
* Develop software for all areas of the company such as analysis software for race and data engineers, logistics, and performance
* Specify tool requirements in close collaboration with the software users
* Generate documentation for developers and users
* Support customers using the software
* Maintain the source code and test the software
Your Profile:
* An engineering degree (e.g., in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering)
* Experience in software development using Microsoft Visual Studio, DevOps, and Git
* Very good C# expertise and good C/C++ knowledge
* Experience with .NET including WPF (Windows)
* Basic understanding of agile development methodologies
* Advantageous (not strict requirements):
o Experience with Linux
o Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework, and/or other relevant database technologies
o Experience with message brokers, such as Kafka
o Experience with cloud computing development
o Experience with web application development
o Experience with AI or ML technologies or data analytics
* Strong English (verbal and written) language skills
* Pragmatic, with a distinct analytical approach
* Highly self-motivated, dedicated, creative, and results-oriented
* Able to work independently with a very high attention to detail
* Persevering, resilient, open-minded, innovative, and a team player with a strong focus
* Ready to support the racing team on a few weekends during the season to help with unexpected software problems (on-call service)
* Eager to be part of a great team, working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment!
