To support the Headteacher/School Business Manager and to be responsible for the effective management, administration control and monitoring of all financial aspects in the day-to-day running of the finance section. Contribute to the planning, development and monitoring of support services and / or management of support staff, including co-ordination and delegation of relevant activities.
The main responsibilities for this position include:
Management of school fund
Ordering school materials and equipment on behalf of all departments
Manage weekly BACS run
Processing and reconciliation of petty cash
Processing month end procedures
Deal with queries from suppliers
Organise and maintain contracts and SLA's
Raising sales invoices
Assisting the administrative team when required
Maintain effective and details financial records Experience of Sage for Education is essential, SIMS experience is advantageous and experience of tucasi parent pay is a bonus!
To be considered for this position you must:
Have previous finance experience (school based essential)
Hold an enhanced DBS for working with children (on the update service), or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
Have a complete 10 year work history
Have the legal right to work in the UK
