Job Responsibilities
* Accurate processing and recording of the company's payroll
* Verification of employee attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments
* Ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations and company policies
* Collaborating with the HR department for payroll preparation
* Resolving payroll discrepancies and addressing employee payroll queries
* Preparing reports for management, finance, and auditors
* Maintaining confidentiality of payroll data
* Staying updated with latest payroll processing trends and best practices
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience with weekly and monthly payroll processing
* Ability to perform manual payroll calculations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Itrent experience is desirable but not essential
* Strong knowledge of payroll systems and tax regulations
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
* Problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer
The role offers:
* £32,000 - £37,000 plus benefits from day one, including 8% pension, MPI, and hybrid working
Hybrid working: minimum 1 day in the office per week, with 2-3 days preferred.
