Job Summary
Please note this position is temporary
Salary will be pro-rated for part-time and term-time hours.
Work pattern - 13.75 hours (9am – 15:00pm Mon & Tue, 9am – 11:45am Wed)
You will provide support to children and young people with additional support needs within Twechar Primary.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Providing personal care needs for pupils.
2. Assisting pupils with specific learning activities and following instructions.
3. Organising pupils' work.
4. Providing supervision for pupils outside the classroom (e.g., in corridors, dining area, during PE, and on school trips).
You will have a pleasant, tolerant manner and a proven capacity to establish positive relationships with children and young people. Experience of working with children and young people with additional support needs and an interest in their development is essential.
A relevant qualification in childcare is desirable.
