About the Role Job Title : Medical Lead for Cardiac Imaging This role can be full-time or part-time employment, dependi ng on t he chosen candidate’s specific situation. Reporting to: Chief Translational Officer, Professor Stefan Neubauer, MD FRCP FACC FMedSci FSCMR. Position Summary: This is a unique opportunity for a cardiologist or radiologist to join an Oxford University spin-out company and contribute to the Company’s service delivery, clinical research, as well as product development. The Medical Lead will help refine and execute the image analysis process based on outputs from the Company’s machine learning (ML) algorithms. Specifically, this person will take an active role in: (1) refining cardiac CT image analysis workflow; (2) establishing process/SOP for physician-led quality control of CT image analysis; (3) analysing outputs generated by ML algorithms or image analysts; (4) supporting clinical research projects; and (5) supporting AI/ML product development. Skills & Experience Required: · Medical Degree with speciality training in cardiology or radiology. · Experience in coronary CT angiography (CCTA) interpretation, ideally evidenced by BSCI or SCCT Level 2 or Level 3 accreditation. · Prior experience with imaging core labs a plus. · High attention to details. · Great interpersonal/leadership skills in a dynamic, fast-pace team environment.
