Neighbourhood Assistant - Temp until end of March 2025 - St. Helens We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Neighbourhood Assistant on a temporary basis on behalf of a well-established housing association in Merseyside, contracted until the end of March 2025. This is an office based role, working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. Your new role Supporting Neighbourhood Officers and Neighbourhood Managers with clerical and administrative functions Speaking to tenants and providing advice & guidance on a range of housing/tenancy management issues they may be facing. Dealing with incoming and outgoing emails, arranging appointments, managing diaries, planning and organising meetings and taking minutes. Providing responses to landlord reference requests Liaising with Income, Tenancy Sustainment, Allocations & Lettings teams to ensure demand and income maximisation What you'll need to succeed Experience of working in a Neighbourhood/Housing setting, dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone Ability to identify issues and risks when speaking to tenants Ability to promote initiatives to support tenants digitally, through employment opportunities and tenancy sustainment Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills Confident IT user What you'll get in return Weekly pay Temp contract until end of March 2025 Hourly rates up to £17.60 per hour Option to be paid PAYE or Umbrella What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
