The Software Process Engineer plays a crucial role in our software team, supporting and enhancing high-speed 3D printing technology based on piezoelectric drop-on-demand inkjet technologies.
You will be involved in optimizing and extending the capabilities of the machine's core 3D printing engine, developing tools and features to assist R&D and customer support teams.
Main Responsibilities:
* Improving thermal control using camera input and sensor data
* Developing software models to predict thermal behavior
* Analyzing large datasets to optimize the printing process
* Enhancing self-diagnostics capabilities of the printer
* Inspecting thermal images for anomalies
* Collaborating daily with software and hardware engineers to design a reliable machine and seamless user experience
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or Engineering (or equivalent)
* At least 2 years of experience in image processing and/or data science
* At least 2 years of experience with Linux systems
* 1 year of Python scripting experience
* 1 year of C++ programming experience
* Experience with hardware control: sensors, actuators, cameras, or similar devices (at least 1 year)
* Experience working with large datasets (at least 1 year)
Preferred Skills:
* Machine learning experience (at least 1 year)
* Git source control experience (at least 1 year)
* ROS experience (at least 1 year)
* Matlab experience (at least 1 year)
* Software for hardware devices experience (at least 1 year)
* Automated test systems and continuous delivery experience (e.g., unit testing, system testing, Jenkins, Docker) (at least 1 year)
