Role description:
Our Intern & Placement programme is designed to give you a hands-on insight into the work we do as a company and help to develop skills and knowledge within your chosen field. Supported by signposted training, the programme is based on Arcadis core values, giving you both technical training and support to help you develop both personally and professionally whilst with us. You will be exposed to real projects and clients and given a range of experiences to immerse yourself into over the course of your 1012-week internship or 6 - 9-month placement (flexibility dependent on your course).
Role accountabilities:
Landscape Architecture Our Landscape, Master planning and Urbanism Team offers the full spectrum of Landscape Architecture, Master planning and Urban Design services, from strategic planning, design concept through to detail and implementation as well as Environmental Assessment and LVIA. Youll have the opportunity to get involved in a range of projects from small scale interventions to large complex multi-disciplinary schemes. This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys a challenge, has a pragmatic approach to delivery, is a team player and enjoys diversity as part of their career development.
Accepted degrees: MA / BA / Diploma in Landscape Architecture or closely related subject.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject
2. You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
3. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
4. Willing to travel and stay away from homewhen required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
