Here, you will make impact by: Leading OEE continuous improvement efforts on CNC Lathes with collaboration from operators, technicians and other engineers in machine shop.Leading sustaining and new product introduction projects that deliver products and processes of validated consistent quality.Manage capital equipment procurement projects from ideation through quoting and implementation ensuring incoming equipment performs as required.Determines priority of multiple project options that give most value by thorough analysis utilizing lean and six sigma tools. Supports manufacturing operations to ensure uninterrupted quality production of life saving products. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher from accredited institution 3 years of CNC machining process engineering in private, public, government or military environment Experience with Swiss lathes CNC Lathe programming and troubleshooting Self-motivated, self-starter ready to solve challenging problems Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills CAD/CAM software experience Fixture development/procurement/qualification OEE Organize manufacturing workflow throughout machine shop including writing programs, tool and fixture loading, parts washing, deburring, 1st piece inspection, audits, work instructions/operation sheets.
