Who You Are Preferably educated to degree level or similar Experience in providing executive assistance to senior executives Experience working with members/politicians and officers at all levels within an organization Experience in a local or central government setting Advanced use of MS Office and understanding of emerging technologies such as AI Proficient in team management with the ability to lead and motivate Strong customer service focus with a commitment to continuous improvement Ability to deliver results under pressure with a proactive approach to problem-solving Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships Strong organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks effectively Adept at understanding political nuances, reliable, and discrete Excellent written and analytical skills for quick information digestion and communication Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings on an ad hoc basis What the Job Involves Planning and organizing CLT meetings for strategic alignment and focus on objectives Tracking action progress and resolving or escalating issues to maintain focus and pace Developing content for leadership and staff engagement events Organizing corporate work, including consultation responses and funding bids Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Coordinating organization of agendas for corporate boards via Executive Assistants Reviewing communications and drafting appropriate responses on behalf of the Chief Executive Forward planning for leadership and staff engagement event content Drafting content for verbal and written communications from the Chief Executive Delivering ad-hoc projects and identifying consultation opportunities Ensuring governance processes are modernized with AI and digitization Managing and developing leadership support team staff Providing timely advice and information to CLT, staying updated on statutory provisions Establishing productive partnerships with relevant partners
