The ideal candidate should have a particular interest in supporting the most vulnerable students in our communities, including those with behavioural, emotional, and social issues, giving them the opportunities they deserve to be successful in life. This new project is being delivered away from the main Compass Learning Centre campus, working with an established off site partner based in the Tolpuddle Forest, just east of Dorchester, and with the support of specialist instructors. The role will involve some planning and to facilitate the delivery of classroom subjects (English, Maths, Vocational Studies) alongside supporting with the delivery of a variety of outdoor education activities. The successful applicant will be a highly motivated and flexible individual who can form positive relationships with students with a wide range of additional needs to make a positive difference. Resilience and a sense of humour is a must. Please note that having a full, clean driving licence, with Business Use Insurance is essential for this role. This position is initially Fixed Term until 31 August 2025, however this could be extended or made permanent, subject to funding.
