About The Role
Activities Team Lead - £12.00 per hour
Full time 30 hours per week including alternate weekend working
We have an exciting opportunity for an Activities Team Lead to join the team at Castle Dene, our specialist, frail elderly and dementia residential care home located in Bournemouth.

What you will be doing:
- Providing a range of imaginative and enjoyable social & therapeutic activities to our residents, some of whom are living with dementia.
- Managing an ongoing calendar of social events and activities for residents, covering their personal interests.
- Negotiating with suppliers, ordering materials, buying tickets, booking transport and arranging outings; to include the wider care team and friends & family of residents if appropriate.
- Researching and implementing new idea and activities.
- Supervising the Activities Assistant, reviewing their work performance and identifying individual training needs.
Who we are looking for:
We want you to be social and outgoing with excellent communication skills. You need to display excellent time management and the ability to prioritise important tasks.
Ideally you have experience in managing a small team. Flexible in the hours that you work.
You need to be over 18 years of age to apply for this position.
