English Teacher / English ECT – What You’ll Be Doing:
* Teaching English to students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons that build students’ reading, writing, and critical thinking skills
* Encouraging a love for literature and language through dynamic and creative lesson plans
* Supporting students of varying abilities, from interventions to stretching the most able
* Monitoring and assessing student progress, offering feedback and adjusting teaching methods where needed
* Creating an inclusive classroom environment that fosters discussion, creativity, and confidence
* Working closely with colleagues to ensure the curriculum is engaging and effective
* Inspiring students to achieve their potential and pursue further studies or careers in English and related fields
English Teacher / English ECT – What We’re Looking For:
* A qualified teacher with QTS, or an ECT with experience teaching English in a classroom environment
* A degree in English, English Literature, or a related field
* A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students to develop a love for reading and writing
* Strong knowledge of English language and literature, with the ability to deliver engaging lessons
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and engage students
* A creative and adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to differentiate for students of all abilities
* A proactive attitude, eager to collaborate with colleagues and develop professionally
